Error updating public folder with busy information exchange 2016 consolidating loans from different lenders
If you work with external users or partners, you'll need an entry in your public domain name server (DNS) zones to check Autodiscover. The Autodiscover service is found by Outlook clients when querying the service connection point (SCP) object in Active Directory.
The SCP is set up when the CAS server role is installed, but you should still validate that it is working correctly.
Although we do not anticipate any issues with the migration, we recommend that you back up your data before the migration.
You can back up your data by performing a PST export with Outlook. Ensure that your Autodiscover DNS record points to Rackspace.
These problems may require you to reinstall Windows Server 2003, Exchange 2007, or both Windows Server 2003 and Exchange 2007.Here are four areas to check -- and two tools to consider -- when free/busy stops working.Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010 do not use public folders to retrieve Exchange 2010 free/busy information. The EWS URL is handed to your Outlook 2007 or Outlook 2010 clients via the Autodiscover service. This is also true for other Exchange servers in partner organizations that wish to share information through federation. If Exchange 2010 free/busy info isn't working, the first thing you should check is the Autodiscover service.
