After receiving my copy of the April, 2005 issue, I was pleasantly surprised to find my E-Mail printed in the “Players’ Pulse” section, with the screen shot (shown to the bottom-right), which I find very appropriate to my current situation.
Yet, despite some pretty good writing, catchy music, and nicely drawn 2D art, the experience suffers because of repetitive and oft-frustrating gameplay.
Sprung isn't really a dating simulation in the strictest sense, so it could be more aptly described as a romantic adventure.

Sprung can be regarded as a dating sim, though the linearity and variety in the game (as well as its humor) lend it more to being an adventure game. Brett and Becky have been longtime friends for as long as they could remember. Their feelings for one another made both of them go on the trip together as an attempt to find not only love but promising future opportunities.
